Grange Park Opera

Plan Your Visit

Our operas are performed at two venues: The Grange, Hampshire SO24 9TG and Nevill Holt, Leicestershire LE16 8EG.

Timings
The grounds are open to ticket holders from 3.30pm. Performances usually start at 5.20pm

The interval is always 100 minutes, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a picnic or dinner at Grange Park or Nevill Holt. Where there are two intervals, the restaurant serves the starter and main course in the first interval and dessert and coffee in the second interval.

What to Wear
Most guests prefer to wear evening dress (black tie/long or short dress). Men who do not wish to wear black tie may opt for any stylish alternative. A shawl or wrap is useful for the cooler evenings.  Inspiration

Dogs
If you bring your dog with you, please do not leave it in your car. Take it to the hospitality tent in the car park. The head of the car park will take care of your dog for the evening. The charge is £20.

Disabilities
We are sorry that the sites are not easy for people who have difficulty walking. If a member of your party has severely restricted mobility, please contact the office and we will ensure that suitable arrangements are made in terms of access, the position of your seat in the theatre, drop-off, dining and so on. We do not have a hearing loop.

Coaches
The roads through The Grange estate to the car park are not suited to coaches. A 28 seater coach is the maximum permitted size and the office must be informed in advance. You will be sent a map with a suitable route. Email caroline@grangeparkopera.co.uk

Your coach must stop as directed by car park staff. There is a short walk from the car park to the champagne bar and theatre. There is no disabled drop-off for coaches.
