Grange Park Opera

Visit The Grange

Grange Park Opera is staged in one of the most glorious settings in all of England. The early 19th century Greek revival house, standing in beautiful and unchanged countryside, is generally regarded as the best surviving example of its period. The home of the Baring family since 1804, it now stands empty and ruined, its memories of grand parties and political intrigue buried in its crumbling walls.

Our award-winning theatre housed in the old orangery was completed in 2003 and seats 530. Within the theatre there are displayed many ancient artefacts found during the theatre excavations and buried in the floor is a working Hornby 00 train set which displays the names of the benefactors to the theatre.
